One Boomer At Large
n 2007, I had two medical issues In 2007, I had two medical issues that required surgical procedures.
Given that I had no insurance, the cost of those procedures as a self pay in the US would have been prohibitive. Beyond prohibitive.
So, after much research, I decided to go overseas as a ‘medical tourist’. The overall consensus is that medical facilities and practices were considered competent and of much lower cost.
My researches led me to New Delhi in India.
In short, it was a success, and I got to explore a place of the world I hadn’t visited.
This series represents a journal of my experiences.
